JOIN THE WINNIPEG PHILHARMONIC CHOIR FOR THE LAST CONCERT OF THE 2009 – 2010 SEASON – SOUNDS OF NATURE

The Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir presents its third concert of the 2009-2010 season - SOUNDS OF NATURE on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3:00 pm . The concert takes place at Westworth United Church, Grosvenor and Lanark. Joining the Phil are special guests Donna Laube (piano) and Chinese Flute player and composer, Xiao-Nan Wang. Programme: With nature as the interlocking theme, the programme will depict how composers depict nature in music. Repertoire will include Due North (Stephen Chatman), Nocturnes (Lundvik) and Leek's Ngana and much more.
